Hi all,
What with The Christmas Lights being switched on
And Black Friday nearly upon us
It's very tempting to start putting things off until the New Year
To start winding down
Switching off
Particularly with our health and fitness
So it may surprise you to know that there's actually 10% of the year still to go!
10%...that's quite a lot isn't it?
Are you really prepared to let that opportunity go?
To let your weight, health and fitness slide out of focus?
If you've been working on it, to allow yourself to slip backwards?
If you haven't been working on it (but like many people, plan to in January), to start from even further from where you want to be?
I'm a realist: the next 5-6 weeks is probably not the easiest time to lose weight with all the social things going on
But it doesn't have to be a total write-off either
It is possible to still lose weight if that's what you're working towards
It is possible to improve your fitness - the holidays often provide more time for activity
And that doesn't mean not enjoying yourself
It just means a bit of planning
Doing the opposite to the crowds is often a good idea (I have an email for you on this coming soon)
Whilst it seems everyone else has already started on their diet of mince pies and mulled wine
Whilst others are claiming their badge of honour for having been at parties for 8 nights in a row, are sleep deprived and have not been 100% sober in 2 weeks
You could be selective
Pick your times to let your hair down and enjoy yourself
You'll feel so much better for it come January
Even by starting to think about next year, now
What your next steps with your health
You will start to make small changes and different choices NOW
We're doing the same with the business here
Whilst is why you'll notice we have a lot going on over the next few weeks
(Before everyone jumps on the health and fitness bandwagon in January!)
What could you do with the final 10% of 2019?
Darren
