We had our first “Christmas Meal” of the year last Friday
It was still actually November and when the DJ started his set with “Last Christmas” you could hear the tumbleweed across the dancefloor!
We still have another 3 weeks before the big day itself
- Parties
- Drinks
- Meal's out
- Celebrations
- Things going on at schools Etc.
Sure it's the same for you
With all that going on it's really tempting to get OVERWHELMED
To just say “F*** it! It's too hard. There's no point even bothering to try and be healthy”. “It's not in my control”
That's the easy option
But will you feel good about it?
Because that's what we all want at the end of the day, isn't it?
To feel good about ourselves, our bodies and our health
It's also the option that will guarantee you do put on weight
Here's what I suggest you do instead:
Choose.
Simple as that
Decide on which occasions you are going to indulge and which you are going to manage things
You don't have to drink at every event
Could you eat something healthy before you go so you're not tempted by the party food?
Just the act of thinking about it beforehand and having a plan is a massive help
It's EMPOWERING
And puts you back in the driving seat
