When it's time to start working on your health again
- That first run
- Setting the alarm that bit earlier every morning
- Going to bed earlier and “missing out” on downtime
- Weaning ourselves off the caffeine
- Depriving ourselves of chocolate
- Just the thought of nibbling on lettuce and carrot sticks all day
- The hunger
All of this fills our minds with thoughts of PAIN - both physical and mental
And who likes pain???
Only a minority of us...which is why this trepidation can often be enough to put us off even starting to improve our health
Or we start, but pretty soon decide the pain is just too much - we tell ourselves it's not worth the effort; we're not strong enough, we don't have the discipline
So we beat ourselves up mentally instead!
Ouch!
