Why work with Motus?


If you are interested in improving your health, fitness and longevity then you're not exactly short of options!


It's fair to say most people who enquire about working with us are expecting “personal trainers”... we hope that we don't fit that stereotype! 


Don't get me wrong, “personal training” (i.e. one-on-one exercise sessions) is very much part of what we do, but over 20 years of experience has taught us that in order to get the best results possible for our clients we need a more holistic approach.


“We aren't about shouting and screaming at people, that just isn't our style.  Instead we focus on creating mutually agreed goals and realising them through achievable, well-planned and engaging programmes, combined with real accountability.  We are about supporting you in striving towards a wider concept of health: developing physical and mental wellbeing to improve performance in every area of life”


We refer to it as “Health and Performance Coaching” as regardless of where you are at in your health journey, it's about performing better at whatever it is that you want to do; performing better at “life” and creating a longer, healthier and happier life.


The first step is to establish your “health vision”; what's important to you about your health and your body, and what will that allow you to do or to continue doing?  What are your true motivations?  What are your strengths?  Where could you improve?


After your consultation and assessment we then set about designing a bespoke programme with you in order to work towards that vision.


In addition to one-on-one exercise sessions your programme will also include working on other aspects of health and lifestyle such as nutrition, sleep and stress management and you'll have access to our hand-picked team of experts in various disciplines.  You're not dependent on just one person.


One aspect that is often overlooked in terms of improving or transforming health is the support and accountability in making it happen consistently.  This is a huge focus as we know that helping our clients build and change habits is the key to success.  Once we have the right information, putting it into practice consistently is what produces the long-term results, and then maintains them.

We are based at our private studio near Stratford-upon-Avon, though also work with clients at their homes and online.
