Pork and Turkey burgers

Ingredients

1.25 kg ground Turkey
0.3 kg ground pork
1 small red pepper finely chopped
2 shallots finely chopped
1 large handful fresh corriander finely chopped
1 jalapeno chilli finely chopped (seeded optional!)
1 1/2 tbsps chilli powder
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper


Method

Combine the turkey,pork,peppers,shallots,corriander,jalepeno,chilli powder,cumin,salt and pepper in a large bowl. Using your hands mix well and form into 6 - 8 burgers. These can be kept in the fridge until ready to cook (or even over night).
Cook under a moderate grill or in the oven until cooked through ( around 15-20 mins).


Serve with our tomato salsa
